DirtBike School is a FUN, one-day, hands-on training session available to anyone six years old or above. At approved training sites, MSF certified DBS Coaches will teach you basic riding skills and responsible riding practices, including risk management and environmental awareness. We specialize in small classes.

The Closed Range Exercise is dirtbike motorcycle training, providing hands-on riding training with an emphasis on safety and skill development. Our classes are small (normally 3 students or less, and many times just 1 or 2 students), and usually made up of family or friends, which provides for more individual attention. This is a basic course, no motocross (although you can search www.usmca.org for coaches with this specialty) or advanced skills taught.

Prerequisites: Ability to ride a bicycle. Class may be limited to specific age groups.

A one-day class for people who would like to learn how to ride and understand the characteristics of an off-road motorcycle. There is no formal classroom segment - all activities are conducted primarily in a dirt/grass riding area. 

• Helmet (we do have some loaners)
• Goggles
• Over-the-ankle footwear. (not cloth, canvas, etc.)
• Long non-flare denim pants or material of equivalent or better durability.
• Long-sleeved shirt or jacket.
• Full-fingered gloves.

We do have some smaller training bikes for loan during the class (Kawasaki 140L and Kawasaki 140G, Honda CRF 230F, Honda CRF110F, CRF 50F, Yamaha TTR 125) and will be adding more. Students are encouraged to bring their own.

If you have NO experience on a street bike and have some apprehension about taking the licensing course, this is a good way to get familiar with the basics of operating a motorcycle.

Our range is just outside Jonesboro, TX in Hamilton County. The cost is $250 per person if you use our bike, $175 if you bring your own for regular classes (maximum of 4)

If you would like a class for father/son, mother/daughter (classes of 2 or 3) using my bikes, the cost is $250 each. Private lesson (class of 1) using my bike is $500.00 ($400 if using your own).

These classes are usually arranged by age group and can be arranged for father/son, mother/daughter, etc.  Classes are usually scheduled for Saturday or Sunday.

These classes tend to be weather dependent as the range can get very muddy. If we get rained out, we can reschedule or you can receive a refund.
